Under the leadership of fourth-grade language arts and math teacher Leslie Roser, the school implemented four days of hands-on science activities. Leslie also serves as chair for the School Improvement Plan, holds group lunches with her students, uses her planning time to assist children, and shares knowledge with staff members. Principal Sharon Morgan, who nominated her, said, “All children in Leslie’s classroom know they have a teacher, counselor, confidante and friend for life.”

2011 “I Make A Difference” Teacher Of The Year Program

We invite you to nominate an exceptional teacher for Positive Promotions’ annual “I Make A Difference” Teacher Of The Year Program. Your nominee should set the standard of excellence in teaching and for inspiring students and fellow educators.

Each nominee will receive an exclusive recognition gift. They also are eligible to win one of the regional Teacher Of The Year Awards. First Prize winners receive a $500 donation in their name to their schools, and the schools of Second Prize winners receive $250. Nomination forms will be sent out shortly before Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week.
