We Heart Secretaries

Show some love for your school’s secretaries. On pink or red paper, photocopy outlines of hearts containing the words “We love you.” Distribute sheets of these shapes to classes. Request that teachers and students each sign a heart and cut it out. In the office, display the hearts and also set out baskets of heart-shaped candy. Thank your hardworking employees with “School Secretaries: The Heart Of Our School” Purse Holders and Portfolios With Matching Pens.

2010 Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week Contest Winners

Thank you to everyone who participated in Positive Promotions’ annual Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week Contest. Congratulations to the winning schools. They showed large amounts of enthusiasm when honoring their hardworking teachers and staff. Here are the 2010 winners:

Grand Prize: Farley Elementary School in Huntsville, Alabama

Second Prize: Riverside Junior/Senior High School in Boardman, Oregon

Third Prize: Jefferson Elementary School in Gary, Indiana

Honorable Mention: Perry Hall Elementary School in Baltimore, Maryland

2011 “I Make A Difference” Teacher Of The Year Program

We invite you to nominate an exceptional teacher for Positive Promotions’ annual “I Make A Difference” Teacher Of The Year Program. Your nominee should set the standard of excellence in teaching and for inspiring students and fellow educators.

Each nominee will receive an exclusive recognition gift. They also are eligible to win one of the regional Teacher Of The Year Awards. First Prize winners receive a $500 donation in their name to their schools, and the schools of Second Prize winners receive $250. Nomination forms will be sent out shortly before Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week.
